Leslie Saunders, President and Owner

Leslie Saunders has more than thirty years of experience developing innovative insurance products, employee benefits and training services for travel industry organizations, car rental companies and airport concessionaires. Leslie strongly supports national certification for WBE/DBE firms. She is a long-time member of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and serves on the Governing group of the WBENC’s national Women’s Enterprise Leadership Forum. Leslie currently serves as a Presidential Appointee to the National Women’s Business Council, a bi-partisan Federal government council that serves as an independent source of advice and counsel to the President, Congress, and the U.S. Small Business Administration on economic issues of importance to women business owners. Leslie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University Douglass Campus. She earned a certificate from the Tuck/WBENC Executive Management Program. Leslie and her husband live in the Tampa area. Craig Scurato, Vice President/Producer

Craig Scurato joined Leslie Saunders in 2008 to expand the firm’s focus on providing benefit consulting to companies of all sizes. Throughout his 20+ year career in the insurance and compliance administration business, Craig has held sales and sales leadership positions with the largest companies in the industry. As a Sales Manager for Standard Insurance in St. Louis, he led the teams that sold and serviced large clients as diverse as St. Louis Public Schools, City of Memphis, Crane Corporation and Bunge. While Regional Vice President for Delta Dental in Kansas City, Craig led the efforts to build products, networks and community relations while selling and servicing half of the 1,000 + market for public and private employers. He has helped both large and small employers find solutions to their most vexing benefit and compliance issues through a combination of knowledge, industry insight and creativity. Craig has extensive underwriting training and practical experience in all financial aspects of employee benefits and compliance administration outsourcing. Craig is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, GA and currently resides in Kansas City, MO with his wife and two children.

Jim Davis, Training Consultant

Jim Davis is a training and development professional, with more than twenty years of experience in training management, design, development, and implementation. Jim has managed training and development departments for Fortune 500 companies in classroom, self-paced, facilitated online and web-based formats. His expertise spans all phases of adult learning and educational development including needs analysis, content design, course development, implementation, and program evaluation. Jim is a life-long learner dedicated to developing superior training solutions. Prior to joining with Leslie Saunders, Jim was Vice President of Organizational Development, Education and Events with GMAC Home Services in Oak Brook, IL, (now Real Living) a multi-billion international provider of real estate, mortgage, and relocation services. Jim directed the development and delivery of all educational products via classroom, convention, meeting, internet, and self-paced delivery for all 1,300 company-owned and franchise offices. Jim also served for many years in the car rental industry as Director of Learning and Organizational Development for Cendant Car Rental Group (previous owner of Avis and Budget Rent a Car), and Director of Training and Development for Budget Group (former owner of Budget Rent a Car and Ryder Truck Rental). In these roles he directed front-line employee training for technical skills, product sales, local market sales and quality assurance training for more than 6,000 Avis and Budget rental locations. Jim has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from BBA the American InterContinental University, Hoffman Estates, IL. He is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the International Society for Performance Improvement. Jim and his family reside in the Chicago area.
